This is my first blog ever! I should have started it a long time ago but, never come around to see the need to have one. Now I do. I need a media to tell the world that I have jewelries with certain designs that might cover certain niche market of unorthodox yet comfortable and suitable jewelries for any functions! I am still learning and I will stumble upon blocks and rocks, so please be patient and feel free to make comments on things.
Fun Lady Jewelry sells jewelries at reasonable price and for fun. For example: it has earrings just for staying home, or gardening, or playing tennis, or going to playground with your kids, for party, going out with girls, or even your special ones! So, it is not necessarily for women of all ages but also can be for men who like to give their special someone something fun to have. So, that is my market. OK, I will post new creation each week and we will go from there.
But, back up to about almost one year from now, and it was in 2009, maybe sometimes in Fall 2009. My mother in-law who is an water-color artist, Michele Missner of Appleton WI, was interested in making jewelry from beads. She talked me into it (I was reluctant at first since I thought it would take much of my time). But, no! Well, some of the designs would take some time to make, but for rings, earrings, pendants, they are all a cinch! I got even more interested since this kind of jewelry has crocheting involved. And, I am crocheter. You can only imagine how thrilled I was to combine my most favorite craft technique in jewelry making. It was amazing discovery. I decided to take a lesson and then, the rest is history.
The next chapter I would like to take on is, sharing my passion in crochet to your world. I would have gallery full with wonderful crocheted items that would be good for each season, or for all season. There would be shawls, headbands, scarves, arm-warmers, hats, purses, soft-cuff, soft-choker necklace, or even soft-anklets. I am so thrilled just talking about them. One thing at a time, though. This is after all will be handmade and it is surely will take sometime.
I hope I have enough introduction. And, I am looking forward to enjoying each moment of this endeavor.
Best to you,
Devy Missner – Author/Owner
Hey Devy, this is so exciting! I, for one, want to get into this craft! But I have a question for you, you mentioned jewelry for tennis???? I didn’t see anything like that, do you have any pieces made? Lots of luck with this adventure, I know you’ll go far, you have the right disposition for this kinda thing!
Oh Cheryll!!!! Thank you so much, girl! You made me more energized to do this and keep on going. And, I have tough time to get the itch to wait to make more until I have time, since Marsela is still my first project. Haha … Lifetime one. Anyway, tennis earrings will come. I made several of them in the past and most of them were given away as gifts. Now, I will make more for Fun-Lady-Jewelry (FLJF) and Fashion. Also, wrist-band for wiping our tennis-efforts, headbands, hats for winter nights where we have to play some balls, they all will be here. Thank you for asking and please wait for me!

Hi Eko. Thank you so much, but this is for jewelries and fashions for now. So, it would be a mix purpose for me to deal with other than similar subjects. Maybe, when my tiny business gets bigger I will include your site. But, for now I will keep your link in the storage. Again, thank you. Devy
